This resource I have created is a seven page booklet which contains a team activity that has been used many times with adult learners. These learners were completing a Level 1 Employability Course with City and Guilds and had to complete a module named: ‘Working as Part of a Team.’ This booklet covers unit 4 and unit 6 of the team working module. This group project gives learners a set of instructions to create a business plan that will be used to launch a new business venture. They are required to deliver this business plan in the form of a presentation, which they will used to show potential investors or clients of their services. The team will be required to plan everything from the company logo to advertising for staff members to join their firm. Depending on the ability of your learners this task usually takes between 3- 6 hours to complete before the learners deliver their presentation. All instructions for this task are in the booklet, as well as task sheets that will enable them to complete this task and also to reflect on the work they have completed. This activity has also been used with KS3 learners recently with great success.

Letter Writing Task. The learner has a letter writing task to complete and can plan and format their letter correctly by using the included letter writing template.

Quiz and answer sheet provided. Students will try to guess the names of each movie just by looking at a picture that’s related to that movie. You can add an extension question to see if they can guess the year that the movie was released.

Can your pupils guess the real and fictional kings?

Pin the crown on the king! An A3 / A4 2X poster designs and additional sheets with cut-out crowns. There are two different designs. You can print out and play the game with your chosen sheet. Get your pupils to cut out a crown each and attach blu-tack to the back. Get them to close their eyes and see if they can correctly stick the crown on the king! They can close their eyes or wear a blindfold!

Walk around your school classroom and write down what you see. You need to something for each letter of the alphabet. Students can work in pairs.

Learners are asked to find the names of twenty England football team players in the word search. Theses are players in the current 2024 UEFA EUROS lineup. The answer sheet is provided.

1 sheet A fun game! When the hoat says “Go,” the learners fill in the blanks with words that begin with the same letter. When they have finished they will shout “Football’s Coming Home!”

A great lesson filler. Get your learners to design their own Euro’s Football Kit. This can be a fun activity or used for a designing competition! A3 sized. 2 Designs ( 1 black and white / 1 with Euro colours)

This is a twelve page booklet that I designed for adult learners who were completing a Level 1 City and Guilds Employability/ Personal Social Skills Course. This booklet is for the ‘Interpersonal Relationships’ module. All the question, scenarios and tasks meet the qualification criteria. As a tutor you can either go through the booklet page by page, using it as the base for your lesson plan or give the learners the book as a research project. Get your learners to create their own Encanto themed word search. Instructions: The learner will think of 12 words that are associated with this movie. They will write these words in the grid boxes and on the lines below the grid. Following this, the learner will then fill the remaining grid boxes with random letters of the alphabet. Get your learners to swap their completed word search with a peer, who will then complete it.
